All Hail the new King... Jay-Z

Jay-Z has topped the charts with his latest album The Blueprint 3 and has surpassed Rock & Roll legend Elvis Presley with more #1 albums by a solo artist.

The album pushed Jay-Z’s the rapper in front of iconic Rock & Roll acts like The Rolling Stones and Bruce Springsteen.
The Beatles have 19 #1 albums and are the only group in music history to have more #1 albums than Jay-Z.
The rapper is aware of the monumental accomplishment and makes a reference to the historic accomplishment on The Blueprint 3.
On the track “Reminder,” Jay-Z drops lines referencing his #1 album streak, in addition to name checking Elvis Presley and The Rolling Stones.
"Ten number 1 albums in a row who better than me/Only the Beatles nobody ahead of me/I crush Elvis in his blue suede shoes/Made the rolling stones seem sweet as Kool-Aid too"
